Cops seize dagga worth R300,000
Police arrested two men after seizing dagga with a street value of R300,000 in Honeydew, northwest of Johannesburg, a spokeswoman said on Tuesday.
The two men were spotted speeding away from a road block in Honeydew on Tuesday, said Captain Lydia Mtila-Dikolomela.
"The police gave chase. The two suspects stopped their car and started running away but the police managed to apprehend them.
"The police found 70 kilograms of dagga at a street value of R300,000 in the car."
The two men, aged 21 and 36, are facing charges of possession of dagga.
