One dead, one wounded in Diepsloot attack

One man is dead and another wounded after gunmen attacked
members of the Community Policing Forum (CPF) in Diepsloot, north
of Johannesburg, Netcare 911 said on Sunday.
"It was alleged at the scene that the unarmed volunteer members
of the CPF had been attacked by an unknown number of gunmen near
the end of their patrol shift," said Netcare 911 spokesman Nick
Dollman.
The attack happened at about 4.30am on Saturday morning and left
a 42-year old man shot in the foot. A second man was shot several
times and died on the scene.
"It was alleged that he was the chairperson of the CPF and that
he was shot while trying to escape from his attackers," said
