Clearwater hosts search for TV presenter
The SABC 2 youth presenter-search will be hitting Clearwater Mall, Johannesburg this weekend - Friday 31 Oct & Saturday 1 Nov.
The Jo’burg auditions this Saturday (1 Nov) will feature guest performances from the Lyrical Assassinz and DJ Apes live on stage. The Lyrical Assassinz is a hot, up-and-coming South-African rap, R&B, hip-hop experience showcasing some of Jozi’s finest young talent. With pumping rhythms and a flair for poetry that ‘tunes in’ with the minds of our country’s next generation, this group is fueled and ready for take-off. DJ Apes is a fresh new mixmaster from Pretoria, playing an eclectic mix of house, hip-hop, jazz and other interesting beats.
Auditions will be taking place every Saturday on the roadtrip itinerary, from 8am to 8pm; every Friday, SABC 2 will host lots of exciting weekend activities and distribute information with entry requirements & details for the next day’s auditions. Presenters from SABC 2’s Hectic Nine-9 will be on stage to entertain & interact with the crowds coming through for a weekend of SABC 2-fun!
SABC 2 will announce the names of the new presenters in December, as well as an announcement on the new youth-property launching on the channel.
