12 January 2010
Socialite Edith Venter has partnered with Starlicious Lifestyle Events and Niche Lifestyle Design and Savile Row Auctions, to sponsor an upcoming Charity auction dinner to be held at the Radisson BLU hotel on the 1st of April 2010 in aid of the Keurboom Cansa Interim Home in Johannesburg.
Speaking about the event Craig Whitehead said: “After working very closely with the Keurboom CANSA Interim home in Belgravia in Johannesburg, I saw the need to raise some serious fund to assist the home with upgrading and securing its facilities amenities.
"I have a long standing working friendship with Socialite and Event Coordinator, Edith Venter and know how passionate she is about CANSA since she has been a patron for the organisation for many years. I approached Edith to help with the conceptualisation and organisation for the event and she was more than happy to give of her time and come on board to assist.
“The event promises to be a sensational one and will feature an auction by Joff Van Reenen from Savile Row Auctions, who is often seen doing his part for Charity Auctions. In addition to this, guests will be treated to delicious food from Gastronomic Genius and Executive Chef Paul Gindra of The Radisson BLU Hotel and restaurant“ Vivaca” in Sandton.”
Joff van Reenen, Auctioneer for Savile Row Auctions comments, “Over the years I have done many charity events and it is a privilege for me to be able to use my skills to raise funds for those in need. I am proud to be participating in this event on behalf of Savile Row Auctions, and we look forward to providing an evening filled with fun and entertainment whilst being able to raise funds for this much needed cause.”
Concluding Craig Whitehead said: “The evening will showcase the fervent work being done at the Keurboom Cancer Interim home and the efforts of its tireless volunteers who lovingly care for people in need of a home away from home. These people need your support and your generosity."
