Ellis Park road closures for Thursday

The streets around Ellis Park Stadium will be closed from noon
on Thursday for that evening's Confederations Cup match,
Johannesburg metro police said.
"Motorists are advised to use the M1 and the M2 freeways if they
are travelling from the North to the South of Johannesburg, as
traffic is likely to become congested on the roads where the
closures will be," Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said on
Wednesday.
Joe Slovo drive would be blocked off at the M2 offramp as well
as on Abel Road and Saratoga Avenue. The roads would be reopened at
midnight.
Fans were advised to use park and ride services from the Dome in
Randburg, Bezuidenhout Park in Kensington, the University of
Witwatersrand and Nasrec.-Sapa
