Motorcyclist dies in head-on smash

A motorcyclist was killed and two others were seriously injured in a head-on collision on the R512 near the Lanseria Airport this afternoon at 3.50pm. It is believed that the motorcycle and a truck collided head-on, after impact the truck veered off the road and then rolled down an embankment.

Shootings in Joburg leave four dead and one injured

Five separate incidents related to shootings in Johannesburg were logged through ER24's 084 124 number today. A call was logged shortly after the first in Muldersdrift, with two men that had sustained alleged gun shot wounds to the heads. Paramedics called for the Discovery Medicopter, which was not available due to having gone out to the first shooting.
