June Manala, educational psychologist, will give a talk on fulfilling infant parent relationships at Ngwenya Glass Village on Saturday morning February 4, 2012 at 10am.
This will be an interesting interactive discussion on inter alia: early experiences in bonding and attachment, infant neuroscience - what happens to the infant brain during the bonding and how it influences behaviour; the importance of fathers and their emotions
June has a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from Wits University and is a member of the World Association of Infant Mental Health and she plans to run workshops during the course of the year.
Cost is R75 per person and this includes tea/coffee and cake and a contribution to charity Bookings.
